MF Global Australia Limited (MFGA) has a major presence in the global futures and foreign exchange markets. MFGA is a Full Participant member of the Sydney Futures Exchange (SFE) with our Agricultural Desk clients accounting for over eighty percent of the turnover in the three traded wool contracts. MFGA is also active in the newly listed MLA/SFE Cattle Futures contract.

Our professional advisers provide a range of advice and assistance specialising in grain, oilseed & currency markets. Using our extensive overseas network, clients are able to trade all of the world's major futures & options markets in Australia, North America & Europe. Servicing rural Australia is an integral part of our business with cash broking in physical wool (by the container) grains & oilseeds (track markets). MFGA brokers more than eighty percent of the trades of the Sydney Futures Exchange wool contracts and is fortunate to count amongst its clients the majority of the leading traders, exporters and processors in the wool industry. MFGA also provides 24-hour access to global futures markets and supports the execution of orders with up to date research data and advice.

In particular, our Wool & Grains Report provides a daily update of the futures & cash markets along with a market commentary and relevant charts ensuring clients are kept abreast of factors influencing local prices.

Physical Wool - MFGA's Forward Offer Board has delivered to the industry an efficient and transparent method for local and international participants to trade physical wool domestically. With over thirty companies availing themselves of the service volumes have risen to around 100 million kilograms annually.

Physical Grain - MFGA is one of the leading brokers of coarse grains and cereals. An integral part of the MFGA Ag Commodity Desk our physical grain brokerage operation allows commercial traders to buy and sell physical grains, principally wheat, sorghum, barley and canola.
